What are KUGGS?
Kuggs are cute little beings that are being oppressed. Oppressed you say? Yes - oppressed. What??? How? Why? Well, let me tell you the story,
boys and girls... From the day they are born, each little Kugg is given a colored armband with a barcode to determine what their job is when
they grow up. They are also stamped with an expiration "date" which is indicated by the letters PIS (Processed In System) and followed by a number
(showing the productive years left to work.) So from the start, each little baby Kugg's fate has already been determined.
Once they reached to certain age, they will be forced to work in order to survive. But who forces them to work? Ahh... I forgot to mention the
Kuggs are "ruled" by the "privileged" few - The Bagless. The Bagless are rich and greedy beings that provide the Kuggs with jobs to do. The
Bagless pay them just enough for them to survive, therefore making certain the Kuggs can never get ahead.
Day in and day out, the Kuggs work. Day in and day out, the Bagless get richer and richer. The Kuggs, in essence, are the cogs in the machine
that fuels the greed of the Bagless. And like cogs – they are replaceable and expendable. This goes on for years, the Kuggs hopelessly grow into
acceptance, acceptance grows into routine, and eventually routine grows into their sole purpose.
When you look into a Kuggs white rectangular eyes, you see nothing. There is no thought, no life, no doubt of their common fate. Led around with
no resistance or question, the Kuggs have become sheep and the Bagless are their shepherds. But as in any flock of sheep, there will always be a
few strays-ones that realize maybe this isn’t the only way of life- ones that wake up from the nightmare and start to see reality- ones who become
black sheep.
To be continued...
